CnT-40 Melanocyte Proliferation Medium w/o Serum, Higher Certified

CnT‑40‑HC is a clinically ready, serum‑free medium specifically designed for the selective isolation and rapid expansion of primary epidermal melanocytes. It is well suited for product development, protocol validation, and characterization of cell‑based products. As a serum‑free formulation, it requires the user to supply the serum that meets their regulatory requirements, with a recommended supplementation level of 1%.
Melanocytes cultured in CnT‑40‑HC display a primarily proliferative bipolar phenotype while retaining melanin expression. The formulation contains progenitor cell‑targeted (PCT) factors that help maintain a proliferative state, along with melanocyte‑specific components such as endothelin‑1 and endothelin‑3. It is free of PMA, TPA, and antibiotics/antimycotics.
