Description

CRYO‑Defined is a chemically defined, animal‑component‑free cryopreservation medium formulated to protect cells during freezing and thawing. Supplied as a 2× concentrate, it contains 20% DMSO along with all necessary components required to maintain cell viability and integrity throughout the cryopreservation process. The medium is ready to use as provided.
Developed using only synthetic compounds, CRYO‑Defined offers a xeno‑free and fully defined alternative to traditional freezing media that rely on variable additives such as serum. In testing, CRYO‑Defined has been shown to deliver cell recovery rates equal to or better than those achieved with high‑serum cryopreservation formulations, providing a reliable and reproducible solution for maintaining cell quality through freeze–thaw cycles.
