Description

CnT-NX-E is the next-generation successor to CELLnTEC’s market-leading precision media, CnT-07 and CnT-PR, designed for the isolation and expansion of epithelial cells from skin, Eye, gingiva, mammary, and bladder tissue. It offers markedly improved expansion rates, robustness, and versatility across primary cells, iPSC-derived cells, and cell lines.
This medium supports efficient isolation and expansion of primary epithelial cells from various tissue types, including keratinocytes from skin, Eyel epithelial cells, and oral epithelial cells. CnT-NX-E combines advanced proliferation rates with broad applicability for diverse research and development needs.
CnT-NX-E is chemically defined, contains no components of animal or human origin, and requires no feeder cells or plate coating. Its design ensures maximum reproducibility and excellent inter-experimental and lot-to-lot consistency. The medium is fully supplemented and provided in a single, ready-to-use bottle.
Primary epithelial cells grown in CnT-NX-E exhibit excellent morphology and maintain functionality over several passages. For differentiation experiments, switching to CnT-PR-D or CnT-PR-3D differentiation media is recommended.
CnT-NX-E is ideally suited for in vitro studies on skin and inflammatory diseases, irritation assays, cosmetic or drug evaluations, and 3D-modeling applications. It enables a seamless transition from laboratory research to clinical trials and ATMP development.

Epithelial cells growing in CnT-NX-E display a highly proliferative phenotype. For differentiation or homeostasis experiments, it is recommended to switch to the CnT-PR-D, CnT-PR-H, or CnT-PR-3D media. For extended expansion of primary epithelial cells, use CnT-NX-EX instead.
