CnT-Prime Epithelial Proliferation Medium, Calcium-Free

CnT-Prime Calcium-Free is a fully defined, animal-component-free medium designed for specialized applications that require extremely low calcium levels. This formulation contains only residual amounts of calcium, and calcium must be supplemented to enable proper cell attachment and proliferation. For routine culture, the standard CnT-Prime medium with a low calcium level of 0.07 mM is recommended.
CnT-Prime Calcium-Free includes a complete range of amino acids, minerals, vitamins, and organic compounds, combined with growth factors that support strong cell proliferation. It also contains co-factors that improve growth factor binding to cell surface receptors and PCT factors that maximize retention of proliferative progenitor cells, increase longevity, and minimize unwanted differentiation. The formulation does not contain phenol red or antibiotics/antimycotics and is a modified version of the standard CnT-Prime medium. It is intended for use only in special circumstances where an unusually low calcium level is required.
