Description

CnT-PR-MSC is a refined medium designed for high-efficiency isolation and expansion of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived from adipose tissue and bone marrow. It uses an advanced basal medium supplemented with a range of growth factors and a low level of FCS, enabling superior growth rates compared to key competitors—all without the need for plate coating.
Cells cultured in CnT-PR-MSC demonstrate extended longevity and remain strongly multipotent for at least four passages. Adipose-derived MSCs grown in this medium exhibit the following marker profile: CD45-/CD31-/CD73+/CD90+/CD105+/CD34+/-, with at least 10% of the population remaining CD34-positive at passage 4.
At any point, cells can be switched to the xeno-free CnT-PR-MSC-XF medium or induced to differentiate by adding the appropriate differentiation supplementation.
