CnT-Murine Epidermal Keratinocyte Progenitors, Long-Term

MPEK-BL6

Frozen

Vial containing 0.5 million viable cells

Description

CELLnTEC’s long‑term mouse keratinocytes are spontaneously transformed cells that offer the convenience of extended growth without senescence. These MPEK‑BL6 cells are mouse epidermal keratinocyte progenitor cells isolated from normal C57BL/6 skin and cryopreserved at approximately passage 30. They have not been actively transformed and retain the ability to differentiate, as documented extensively in the literature.
For guaranteed growth performance, the use of CnT‑NX‑E medium is recommended, although CnT‑PR or CnT‑07 may also be used as alternative culture media. The cells are supplied at around passage 30 and come with a guarantee of at least six months of growth following delivery.
As with all long‑term cell cultures, it is advised to expand the cells after initial receipt and subsequently freeze down multiple stock vials. Experiments should be carried out within approximately 15 to 20 passages after thawing each stock vial. Once this passage window has been completed, the culture should be discarded and a new one initiated from a fresh stock vial.
