Scientific resources

CnT-Prime Epithelial 3D Airlift Medium is a chemically defined medium formulation designed for optimal differentiation of primary human epidermal keratinocytes in 3D airlift cultures. It does not contain phenol-red or antibiotics / antimycotics, and is completely free of animal or human-derived components.

CnT-Prime Airlift Medium contains a specifically tailored mix of growth factors and lipids to deliver increased barrier function. It create an environment conducive to full differentiation, and the formation of a strong epidermal barrier (more info).

CnT-PR-3D medium is used to establish 3D epidermal models using primary human keratinocytes expanded in CnT proliferation media (CnT-PR or CnT-07). This can be achieved with 12 days of air-lift culture according to our recommended protocol (see protocol link below). The 3D Airlift medium is also available as part of our 3D Starter kits, which contain all components necessary for the establishment of 3D epidermal models.

The medium undergoes a range of QC tests in our lab before being released for sale. Please see the datasheet for details. It can be upgraded for clinical applications. Contact us at support@cellntec.com for further details and pricing.
